Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines


This guide establishes the format of the research papers to be submitted in the journal for review:

All submitted files must be created in MS-Word format (Non PDF)

The text of the document to be submitted must have the following characteristics:

Times New Roman or Arial 12pt and 1.5 interlinear space

The name of the file to submit must contain: surname, code of the publication area and date Ex. Lastname_code-pub_date

Format required (APA Style 6th edition)

Abstract not exceeding 350 words

Key Words: 4 to 8 words Maximum 8000 words per research paper

One publication per semester (End of the semester).

Tables, graphs and photos must go to the end of the document as appendices.

Only one publication will be accepted per publication request, per author

Publications in English, Spanish or Portugues are accepted

Publication process (4 faces)  The publication process will consist of the following steps:

(Phase 1) Receipt of the summary Acceptance for revision

(Phase 2) Receipt of full article Publication acceptance

(Phase 3) Review process Publication

(Phase 4) Publication within the journal
